Requirements

• Proven experience in feed ingredient or grain commodity trading
• Demonstrated personal success in generating margin through buying and selling
• Ability to build and maintain a strong customer network
• Hands-on operator who closes deals, not just manages people
• Strong understanding of commodity markets and pricing dynamics

Responsibilities

• Buy and sell animal feed ingredients to generate net margin and manage commodity risk
• Build and expand a book of business with new and existing customers
• Develop and execute trading strategies based on market conditions
• Establish customer relationships and drive new business development
• Collaborate with internal teams across finance, nutrition, logistics, and feed milling operations
• Manage pricing, contracts, and credit processes for new and existing customers
• Contribute to ERP and systems alignment for trading operations
