About The Position

VP Racing Fuels is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Commercial Sales to lead and expand our commercial sales organization at our Corporate Headquarters in San Antonio, Texas. This high impact role is designed as a succession opportunity, intended for a high-performing sales leader with the potential to grow into the VP of Global Sales role within approximately two years. The ideal candidate brings both strategic acumen and hands-on leadership, capable of scaling revenue, strengthening both domestic and international channels, and developing a world class commercial team in preparation for executive level responsibility. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is essential to driving growth, building executive relationships, and expanding our reach into large enterprise accounts. The Director of Commercial Sales will support our commercial growth strategy and drive revenue growth. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record of closing high value deals.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of professional enterprise sales experience in a hunter role, targeting large, complex organizations/companies.
  • Strong leadership potential with demonstrated ability to influence and mentor others.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 35%.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop the Commercial Sales team.
  • Identify, prospect, and build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities with large enterprise accounts.
  • Develop and execute a targeted sales plan to meet and exceed aggressive revenue goals.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with C-level executives, influencers, and stakeholders within target accounts.
  • Lead opportunities from initial prospecting through negotiation and contract closure.
  • Deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases to senior decision-makers.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Consumer Product, and Operations to ensure alignment on customer needs.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide accurate pipeline management, revenue forecasts, and executive-level reporting via Salesforce.
  • Partner with senior leadership on sales strategy, mentor junior sales staff, and contribute to succession planning.
  • Contribute to long-term commercial strategy and demonstrate readiness for future executive leadership.
