This position is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the ancillary and support services for assigned area(s). Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ leadership experience required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ hospital/ancillary experience required.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Possess knowledge of critical access and rural healthcare systems preferred.

  • Develops, maintains and reviews policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of assigned area(s).
  • Participates in surveys (inspections) by authorized government agencies.
  • Assists in facility management action planning and strategic planning, as requested.
  • Assists in recruitment activities with Human Resources and retention measures.
  • Prepare and manage the departmental budgets for areas of responsibility.
  • Keeps abreast of facility economic conditions and work environment in order to coordinate services.
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.
