About The Position

The Director of Clinical Services oversees the clinical department and is responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of clinical programming. This role collaborates closely with the medical and nursing departments and works cross-functionally with all departments to ensure integrated, high-quality patient care. The Director also provides oversight of the patient milieu, ensuring a safe, therapeutic, and supportive treatment environment. We are North Carolina's premier substance abuse recovery hospital and rehabilitation center located in the beachside community of Wilmington, NC. What began as a 22 bed hospital on one campus in 1984 has grown into a 260 bed hospital spanning 3 campuses - and we are still growing! We are a team of professionals dedicated to helping our patients begin their recovery from the disease of addiction. Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work or related social services program
  • Professional licensure application to the position
  • Crisis Prevention and CPR (training offered at facility)
  • Ability to work with male and female adult (18+) patients with chemical dependency and mental health disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as clinical liaison with all departments.
  • Responsible for developing clinical programming and structuring implementation.
  • Provides Therapeutic services and crisis intervention to patients when needed.
  • Responsible for managing overall employee performance.
