About The Position

Haxtun Health is looking for a Director of Clinical Quality & Patient Safety to lead the advancement of safe, high-quality patient care across our organization. In this role, you’ll partner with clinical leaders to turn data into action, strengthen compliance and risk management efforts, and drive meaningful, organization-wide improvement. The Director of Clinical Quality & Patient Safety provides clinical leadership to advance Haxtun Health’s quality, patient safety, risk management, and clinical compliance efforts. This role partners closely with leadership and departments across the organization to support the QAPI program, translate data and regulatory requirements into actionable improvement strategies, and promote consistent, sustainable practices that enhance patient care. Through a collaborative and solutions-focused approach, the Director works to strengthen alignment, support survey readiness, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • 3-5 years of clinical experience in healthcare setting

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in quality improvement, patient safety, risk management, or clinical leadership preferred
  • Experience working with regulatory standards (CMS Conditions of Participation, state requirements) preferred
  • Experience participating in or leading performance improvement initiatives preferred

  • Family and Medical Leave Insurance Program (FAMLI): Haxtun Health participates in the CO FAMLI program, which is a social insurance program that provides up to 12 weeks of paid leave for qualifying life events.
  • Term Life Insurance: 1 x annual salary term life provided by HHD, no employee premium ($200,000 Max.). Additional voluntary life insurance coverage for the employee and family is an option which can be purchased by the employee.
