Position Summary: The Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and optimizing clinical operations to ensure high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across clinical teams, ensuring services are delivered safely, effectively, and in alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Georgia Registered Nurse License
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive clinical or healthcare operations experience
  • 3+ years in a leadership or management role overseeing clinical teams and patient care
  • 2 + years of experience in Home Care or Home Health Services
  • Strong leadership, effective and clear communication, and decision-making skills
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical compliance, quality standards, and Georgia Private Home Care Regulatory Requirements
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into operational improvements
  • Strong collaboration and change-management capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for clinical team and operations across the organization
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical programs and initiatives
  • Foster a positive culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee day-to-day clinical operations to ensure effective service delivery and patient outcomes
  • Develop, implement, and monitor clinical workflows, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and efficient utilization of clinical resources
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and payer requirements
  • Monitor quality metrics, patient outcomes, and performance indicators; implement corrective actions as needed
  • Lead clinical audits, assist with developing strategy for quality improvement initiatives, and risk management activities
  • Lead, mentor, coach and evaluate clinical leadership and staff
  • Collaborate with operations, billing, compliance, and other departments to support integrated care delivery
  • Promote professional development and ongoing clinical education
  • Analyze operational data and trends to drive performance improvements
  • Support initiatives that improve productivity, service utilization, and patient satisfaction
