Position Summary Concordia University full-time faculty fulfill the university's mission to help students develop in mind, body, and spirit for service to Christ in the Church and the world via teaching, scholarship and service. Concordia University faculty are active scholars in their academic disciplines and participate in the life of the university via curriculum development, academic program assessment, and other activities that support student recruitment, retention and engagement. All Concordia faculty are expected to demonstrate excellence in college-level teaching. The Director of Clinical Education (DCE) is a core faculty member in the PA program, and manages and administers program compliance with the requirements of ARC-PA Standards. This position receives a 20-credit administrative release in order to fulfill clinical rotation oversight responsibilities. This is an on-site position, requiring weekly campus attendance in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Job Summary: The Physician Assistant Program Director of Clinical Education (DCE) position will involve teaching, evaluation, advisement, and mentoring of physician assistant students primarily in the clinical and classroom settings. The Director of Clinical Education is responsible for coordinating, identifying, developing, and maintaining clinical sites for Physician Assistant student clinical rotations, as well as ongoing monitoring of students at clinical sites.
