The Director of Client Execution for the Remodel and Retail Transformation Division is a unique role that provides strategic and hands-on support in all areas with critical Remodel and Retail Transformation clients while working alongside the Client Services departments. In this role, the Director of Client Execution is responsible for leading and ensuring that SPAR executes projects to our client’s goals including on time on-budget completion. This role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with all clients. This role involves regular training, mentoring, and supervising staff that includes District Managers & Supervisors. This individual will be in direct and frequent conversation with clients regarding all operational opportunities.

  • Must be able to work independently seeking out new business through prospecting and cold calling
  • Must be capable of facing challenges and meeting expectations despite business constraints, must be able to use independent judgment and exercise discretion as needed.
  • The working environment will be a home-based office as well as working on the road while traveling.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and organization skills that allow productivity while working in a home-based office.
  • Must be able to manage and develop a team of District Managers and Supervisors.
  • This position requires minimum education of a bachelor’s degree Equivalent Experience may be substituted if asterisk is present.
  • This position requires a minimum of 5-7 years' experience. Experience in mass merchandising is preferred.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of computers, including Internet, e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) abilities.
  • This position does have supervisory responsibilities. Those who manage others are expected to have the ability to lead one or a team of individuals to achieve department goals.
  • Seeing, hearing, walking, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, speaking, sitting, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, communicating and working.

Responsibilities

  • Experience as a leader to ensure deadlines and budgets are on track.
  • Hires, mentors, and develops a skill set of their District Management and Supervisor teams.
  • Conducts performance evaluations with direct reports by following company policy.
  • Travel to meet with clients, and SPAR Field Management, up to 50% of the time with variances in the amount of travel based on client needs and directives.
  • Attend client meetings to review current or upcoming programs.
  • The main operational point of contact for clients posts sales process is to provide the following:
  • Obtain all relevant required materials up front to execute their program
  • Identify reporting requirements the client would like to receive during the program.
  • Develop any action plans pre, during, and post-project to ensure success
  • Communicate with Client Service and Sales Teams to ensure all parties are aligned on what client needs are and the cadence in which they should be delivered.
  • Work with the Sales and Client Service Teams internally on any follow-up presentations that need to be made based on reporting requirements.
  • Work with Client Service Team to ensure billing information is accurate and timely reported into the system before the Client Service Team creates invoices.
  • Work with the Client Service Team to develop Budgets and forecasts throughout the year.
  • Monitor and control costs including pay rates, access, travel and in-store time.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvements regarding projects such as group meetings, group calls, or special initiatives.
  • Demonstrate positive communication and management skills in compliance with company policies and practices.
