To learn more visit Welcome to Wellington Regional Medical Center | Wellington, FL Role and Responsibilities Assumes responsibility and accountability for the 24 hour management of Cardiac Telemetry Services unit to ensure the facility meets the established standard of care. Role and Responsibilities Responsible for the 24 hour management and oversight of the Surgical/Orthopedic inpatient nursing department and any other assigned areas to ensure the facility meets all regulatory, state and corporate standards. Displays appropriate management skills and principles of effective Leadership. This position requires exercising professional judgment in performance of duties which include planning, implementing and directing the financial and operational goals of the institution. Oversight of all unit/department personnel includes interviewing and hiring, ongoing evaluation of performance, educating or process/policies, and motivating, directing and engaging for high level performance.

Requirements

  • Current registered nurse's license in the State of Florida.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification
  • 5-8 years clinical nursing experience.
  • Minimum 5 years progressive nursing management experience
  • BS or BSN required; MS or MSN preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Outlook, Kronos, Cerner, Microsoft Office (preferred).

  • National certification in specialty area preferred
  • MS or MSN preferred.

Responsibilities
