About The Position

Join Yolo County Children's Alliance (YCCA) as the Director of CalAIM & Community Programs, a senior leadership role responsible for designing and overseeing YCCA's CalAIM services (Enhanced Care Management, Community Supports, and related Medi-Cal-funded work) while also providing executive oversight to key community programs within our Family Resource Center (FRC) and Workforce Innovation Opportunity (WIO) portfolios. This role is built for someone who can translate complex CalAIM requirements into real-world operations: strong partnerships, clean documentation, compliant billing readiness and a team that can deliver high-quality, trauma-informed services

Requirements

  • 3+ years program management experience in healthcare, social services, housing, or a related field
  • 3+ years supervisory experience (hiring, coaching, performance management)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of CalAIM and/or Medi-Cal program operations (ECM/Community Supports strongly preferred)
  • Strong skills in compliance, documentation standards, reporting, and outcomes tracking
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfort working across multiple partners and systems
  • Valid CA driver's license, proof of auto insurance and reliable transportation
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's preferred or equivalent experience)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working directly with Managed Care Plans and/or DHCS-funded contracts
  • Familiarity with care coordination platforms/CRMs (Salesforce, Apricot, Epic, etc.)
  • Trauma-informed and equity-centered program leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead CalAIM implementation (75%): program design, launch, staffing, workflows, and continuous improvement for ECM and Community Supports
  • Ensure compliance & audit readiness: DHCS/Medi-Cal and Managed Care Plan requirements, monitoring prep, corrective actions as needed
  • Strengthen documentation & billing readiness: ensure staff meet documentation standards that support service verification and reimbursement
  • Manage performance & outcomes: track utilization, productivity, deliverables, and quality metrics; solve problems early
  • Build and manage partnerships: serve as liaison with Managed Care Plans, county partners, and system stakeholders
  • Supervise and develop staff: directly oversee CalAIM staff; provide oversight leadership to the FRC Program Manager and WIO Program Manager (25%) to ensure alignment across programs
  • Support budgeting and planning: work with Finance/Leadership on budgets, forecasting, and operational sustainability
