About the Role At the heart of our platform, we track performance marketing data and build solutions to turn this data into useful information for our customers. To support this, our internal teams utilize a suite of 3rd party business systems (Salesforce, NetSuite, Harvest, Zendesk, etc.) to service business and customer needs efficiently. We are seeking a Director of Business Systems to lead the charge in optimizing our internal technologies. In this role, you will manage a team of optimization experts while simultaneously acting as the lead product owner for our internal systems. You will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical execution—translating user needs into scalable process designs, managing the product roadmap, and ensuring our teams operate with maximum efficiency. You will own the ecosystem from strategy to execution: leading a team, managing vendors, designing workflows, writing requirements, and overseeing the rollout of new capabilities across the organization.

  • Team Management: Manage, mentor, and hire a team of internal or external business systems process experts. Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide ongoing coaching on best practices to support professional development and operational excellence.
  • Roadmap Ownership: Coordinate the Business Systems product roadmap across different stakeholders. Prioritize competing opportunities, balance internal needs with business priorities, and articulate the rationale behind "No" or "Not Yet" decisions.
  • Vendor Management: Own the day-to-day relationships with software vendors and external consultants.
  • Evangelism: Act as the internal champion for business systems, articulating the value the team drives and ensuring adoption across the organization.
  • Process Optimization: Design optimized business processes that drive efficiency and scale through technologies like Salesforce, Hubspot, DocuSign, ZoomInfo, NetSuite, and Salesloft.
  • Requirements Engineering: Partner with stakeholders to develop user stories, determine solution designs, and craft clear, concise business requirements.
  • Agile Execution: Manage the intake and triage process for requests. Create, curate, and maintain tickets in Jira for technical developers to ensure smooth agile delivery.
  • Operational Excellence: Own the execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements.
