About The Position

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting new and existing clients in solving their capital project needs, generating new clients, supporting existing clients, and advancing the business development process. You will actively participate in the planning and execution of company marketing activities providing vital input based on your interactions with prospects.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in engineering, construction marketing, or a related field
  • Demonstrated sales and business development experience within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, with direct experience serving the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector
  • Proven ability to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities, cultivating long-term relationships with key decision-makers
  • Strong understanding of market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape to strategically position services and solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving measurable business growth
  • Experience planning and representing the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and client events
  • Self-motivated and highly organized, capable of managing multiple accounts and projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support national growth initiatives across the Consumer Products markets, driving expansion and strengthening our presence within these key sectors
  • Maximizes market penetration within target sectors by researching and identifying strategic contacts, building a robust pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Conducts sales calls and maintains consistent engagement with prospects through contract execution, continuing relationship management during project delivery and following completion to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships
  • Together with Project Director, develops specific “win” strategy for proposals and presentations
  • Identifies need for and develops promotional materials and programs to enhance Division’s market position or improve selling strategy
  • Plans, coordinates, and actively participates in industry trade shows and conferences to enhance brand visibility, expand professional networks, and generate new business opportunities.
  • Becomes an active member in appropriate national, state, regional, community and industry organizations
