The Experience Senior Living Team is comprised of dynamic professionals fueled by their passion to empower people as they grow older to live life to the fullest. They are creators, architects, nurses, researchers, programmers, marketers, facilitators, developers, investors, and caregivers, all focused on making a positive impact on the lives of residents, their families and team members. The Director of Business Development will partner with the Executive Director and Director of Sales to meet and exceed occupancy goals for the assigned community. This role involves leading or supporting sales presentations, tours, and prospect follow-up to drive move-ins, and maintaining accurate data within the CRM system. The Director will also collaborate with community leadership to ensure an exceptional prospect experience and adherence to ESL brand standards. A key aspect of the role is external business development, including developing and managing relationships with professional referral sources, identifying and cultivating referral pipelines for all Colorado communities, and creating and executing business development plans with measurable goals. The Director will track and report referral activity, maintain an active presence in the local market, and represent ESL at regional events. Furthermore, the role includes serving as a sales culture champion, partnering with senior leadership to ensure alignment on messaging and goals, and providing recommendations for pricing, marketing, and promotional strategies based on local insights, while upholding ESL’s brand standards and values.
