About The Position

arrivia is looking for a Director of Business Development to serve as a strategic partner to our executive leadership team. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by managing our global sales pipeline and leading the end-to-end execution of our industry conferences. This role blends analytical discipline with external-facing engagement, ensuring the team operates with accurate forecasting, seamless conference execution, and coordinated prospect management.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in business development, sales operations, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in HubSpot or comparable CRM platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience managing conference logistics and trade show execution.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Local presence in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area preferred for event management and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the HubSpot CRM system to ensure accurate pipeline tracking and deal reporting.
  • Maintain real-time visibility into pipeline stages, deal progress, and revenue forecasting for leadership and board-level visibility.
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of industry conferences and trade shows, ensuring proper lead capture and post-event reporting.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring strong ROI and cost control across all marketing materials and booth logistics.
  • Support the preparation of executive presentations, proposals, and strategic partnership documentation.
  • Conduct research and background analysis on prospective partners and target accounts to support deal advancement.
