Role Overview: As the Director of Business Development NE, you will play a pivotal leadership role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing strategies for new business opportunities for the cold storage industry, ensuring alignment with our company's vision and goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of RealCold and make a significant impact on our growth trajectory.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Willingness to live within a commutable distance to East Hanover, NJ
  • Minimum of five years professional experience in a Business Development or Professional Sales Environment with a proven record of sales growth within the cold storage industry
  • Excellent negotiation and networking skills needed
  • Strong knowledge of ecommerce, cold storage warehouse operations and pallet position sales strategy
  • This is a “hunter” role, and qualified candidates must provide examples of their ability to generate organic revenue growth via prospecting tools and techniques
  • Strong decision-making ability and proven record of ability to escalate decisions regarding project, direction and scope to leadership team.
  • Knowledgeable in Office 365 (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Director of Business Development will collaborate with leadership to develop and implement short- and long-term goals, to align with the growth of the organization in the assigned sales territory. This team member will originate and qualify leads, networking, social media, events and/or other sources and develop relationships with executives within targeted accounts.
  • Business Strategy: Develop, execute and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth & positive customer ratings
  • Client Relationships: Maintain positive professional relationship with clients and internal customers
  • Sales Metrics: Monitor sales progress to ensure that goals are met to effectively grow the business through business proforma
  • Contract Management: Manages the execution of all contracts for new business opportunities from start to finish.
  • Cross Functional Alignment: Aligns strategies with cross functional teams to ensure alignment across the organization.
