About The Position

The Director of Brand Marketing is a visionary leader responsible for shaping and executing go‑to‑market (GTM) brand strategies that drive product growth, elevate awareness, and engage professional audiences across all channels. This role blends strategic marketing leadership with creative design oversight — connecting product positioning, brand messaging, and visual identity to deliver cohesive, impactful campaigns that move the market.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in brand marketing or creative direction within B2B manufacturing, building materials, or durable goods industries.
  • Proven success in integrating marketing and design teams to deliver strategic and visually cohesive campaigns.
  • Expertise in GTM planning, channel marketing, creative production workflows, and team leadership.
  • Strong understanding of sales enablement, merchandising, and digital marketing execution.
  • Proficiency with design tools, project management software, and AI‑based creative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee brand messaging deployment ensuring consistency for syndication.
  • Direct integrated GTM strategies — ensuring alignment across all execution channels
  • Create annual promotional and engagement campaigns (seasonal programs, rebates, sweepstakes) that drive contractor adoption and sales.
  • Lead product launch planning for both new and existing product lines, creating sustained awareness and measured growth over two years.
  • Champion merchandising, tradeshow, and event executions — developing innovative POP, display, and in‑store theater kits with creative excellence.
  • Drive sales enablement tool creation — providing the field with competitive, visually compelling assets that support outreach and conversion.
  • Develop and also lead the Graphic Design team to produce creative assets that support GTM strategies, balancing visionary concepting with high‑volume execution.
  • Establish and enforce brand guidelines, ensuring all creative output reflects strategic direction, market trends, and best‑in‑class standards.
  • Introduce AI‑forward design and marketing practices to improve output speed, innovation, and resource utilization.
  • Evolve brand and creative best practices – staying on trend and benchmarking against competitors and industry leaders.
  • Manage project operations, including budget control, timelines, agency partnerships, rebate processing, and continuous process improvement.
  • Own project resource loading and workflow improvements to enhance efficiency across marketing and design production.
  • Serve as the central link between product marketing, channel sales, and creative design, translating market strategy into compelling brand executions.
  • Inspire creativity and accountability across your cross‑functional team, promoting collaboration and clear communication.
  • Elevate brand presence through measured, data‑driven marketing complemented by standout design excellence.
