About The Position

Lawhive is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Attorney Success to play a pivotal role in scaling and optimizing our attorney network. Reporting to our VP of Business Development, this role is crucial for maintaining appropriate attorney capacity to meet client demand and ensuring our clients consistently receive exceptional legal services. You will be instrumental in setting and maintaining high-quality standards across our entire network, contributing directly to our mission of delivering unparalleled client experiences.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in Customer Success, Account Management, or Partnerships, ideally within a marketplace, legal tech, or SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of managing a portfolio of clients or partners, with direct ownership of performance and growth metrics.
  • Confident coach and communicator - able to build trust quickly, deliver direct feedback constructively, and hold partners accountable.
  • Commercially minded, with experience owning or contributing to expansion revenue targets and improving conversion rates.
  • Data-driven approach to performance monitoring, pattern recognition, and proactive intervention.
  • Comfortable with CRM and customer success tooling; quick to learn and champion new technology - experience driving AI or software adoption is a strong plus.
  • High ownership mentality with the ability to build structure and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Background as an Attorney or a J.D. considered a bonus.
  • Familiarity with legal services, legal tech, or regulated marketplaces is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Help Lawhive maintain the appropriate capacity of its attorney network to meet the demand of our clients.
  • Recruit attorneys to join our co-counsel network.
  • Set and maintain high-quality standards across the entire network through effective coaching and education.
  • Manage, monitor, coach, and guide the performance of all participating firms within our network.
  • Champion the use of Lawhive’s AI platform by assisting and requiring co-counsel to use our platform for client communication and fulfillment of services.
  • Work closely with Product, Customer Support, and Engineering to provide valuable feedback and product suggestions that enhance our service delivery.
  • Create and implement continuous improvement programs covering attorney and firm performance, training & communications, recruiting and onboarding of firm staff and attorneys, and fostering member empathy and support.
  • Report regularly to the leadership team on key metrics such as network capacity, client satisfaction, special initiative progress, and other relevant data.
