Job Summary The Opportunity The Director role leads a cross-functional team responsible for driving strategic initiatives, enabling operational excellence, and delivering high-value insights across the organization. This role oversees a portfolio that includes project managers, report developers and analytics specialists, and budgeting and planning system owners, ensuring alignment to business priorities and organizational strategy. The Director partners closely with business and technology leadership to translate complex needs into actionable plans, orchestrate successful implementations, and promote data-driven decision-making. They ensure that new functionality, major enhancements, and projects are executed with clarity, structure, and measurable outcomes, while also owning the governance, standards, and processes that enable smooth delivery The director provides direction and leadership to ensure enhanced applications performance, applications development meets the agency's needs and data safety is of the upmost concern. - Oversees large scale projects and initiatives. Oversees Workday reporting, analytics, strategy, and leading PMs with cross functional large scale projects. - Interprets impact of broad scope organizational change for staff and develops change strategies for successful implementation. -Develops and manages operational initiatives with measurable outcomes. -Contributes to the success of the department by providing leadership, direction, and coordination of operations, programs, finances, and human resources for area of responsibility. -Continually assesses all services, identifies problems, and utilizes data to analyze and propose innovative approaches for solutions. -Remains current of new trends and best practices and incorporates into Applications Development programs. -Creates and maintains a satisfying workplace that fosters professional growth and job satisfaction for all members of the team.
