Requirements

  • Experience leading ancillary or clinical healthcare services
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards
  • A collaborative, relationship-driven leadership style
  • Strategic thinking paired with hands-on problem solving
  • A passion for rural healthcare and community impact
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration or a related field required.
  • Minimum three years leadership experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in business or operational management or other supervisory experience required; broad knowledge of process and system improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working with operational networks preferred.
  • Possess a strong business acumen.
  • Ability to allocate authority and/or task responsibility to appropriate people and possess the skills to encourage others to seek opportunities for different and innovative approaches to addressing problems and opportunities.
  • Ability to influence others to perform their jobs effectively and to be responsible for making decisions.
  • Experience in operational strategy creation, systems and design thinking
  • Ability to operate independently and lead complex interactions

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Laboratory, Radiology, and Respiratory Therapy services
  • Inspire and develop department managers and clinical teams
  • Champion quality, safety, and compliance (CLIA, CMS, and more)
  • Partner with physicians and leaders to improve workflows and patient experience
  • Manage budgets, staffing, and operational performance
  • Drive innovation, technology optimization, and best practices
  • Represent ECMC through community engagement and collaboration
