About The Position

The Director of Analytics Engineering leads a focused, high-impact data and analytics initiative supporting our Philanthropy, Communications & Marketing divisions. This role is responsible for architecting, modernizing, and sustaining a scalable enterprise data and analytics foundation that enables donor intelligence, campaign performance insights, and strategic fundraising enablement. The Director designs and delivers modern data platforms and analytics solutions using strong engineering and data-quality practices, while leading a project team and collaborating closely with enterprise data teams and departmental leadership to ensure enterprise alignment and timely delivery of strategic outcomes. Requirements

  • Master's Degree Preferred and 3 years of experience minimum in data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or related experience.; Preferred candidates will have 5+ years of experience to include 4+ years in a leadership or senior technical or related leadership roles. OR
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 5 years of experience minimum in data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or related experience.; Preferred candidates will have 7+ years of data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or related experience which includes 4+ years in a leadership or senior technical or related leadership roles.

Responsibilities

  • Data Platform Architecture Engineering: Builds and maintains a modern, scalable data platform by modernizing legacy pipelines, implementing strong engineering and data quality practices, and documenting architecture and processes to ensure long term sustainability.
  • Data Product Development Strategic Analytics: Leads the creation of data products and analytics solutions that enable donor segmentation, campaign insights, and strategic planning, translating priorities into actionable, enterprise?aligned data capabilities.
  • Leadership, Collaboration, and Stakeholder Management: Provides day to day technical leadership and mentorship, collaborates across data governance and product teams to ensure alignment with standards, and manages stakeholder relationships to deliver milestones on time and within scope.
