The Aftermarket Director for Shuttleworth is responsible for directing and growing the Aftermarket Department to obtain maximum sales volume, maintaining internal and external department efficiency, and develop strong customer relationships through satisfaction/support. The Aftermarket Director is accountable for creating a roadmap, spreading the Aftermarket vision to the entire organization, and then effectively managing all aspects of the group. The position requires management of both the parts and service segments of the business. Are you intrigued about this work? Effectively manage parts and service sales as they pertain to the aftermarket, developing an annual, formal strategic parts sales and marketing plan. Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments to ensure completion of all installations to meet customer expectations. Develop and Manage processes and procedures for all aspects of the parts sales cycle, including but not limited to discovering the opportunity, providing part quotation, closing of the sale, placing, and tracking the order through the ERP system and striving for on-time delivery to customer. Data Analysis to drive actions that support aftermarket growth including pricing and margin trends, customer follow-up process, strategic growth programs, and parts inventory management. Data Management and actions using aftermarket tools available including Hit Rate Analysis, Follow-up Tracking, and Price/Margin Tracker. Lead/Participate in conference calls, meetings, and reports related to data management analysis with actions plans to improve the identified trends. Assure 100% of factory shipments are shipped with the correct recommended spare parts list and customer manuals. Build relationships with customers and lead “Voice of the Customer” initiatives improve customer service. Provide Aftermarket Service management including project schedules, field status reports, warranty management, triage response time, ensuring that service techs are briefed properly prior to customer visits and de-brief upon completion at a customer site. Requirements

  • Three to five years’ experience in parts and service management or equivalent position
  • Problem solving, project management, reasoning ability, data management
  • Experience managing people and communicating with customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills which includes presentation skills
  • Computer literate in Microsoft products
  • Willing to travel as needed +/- 20%

Nice To Haves

  • Capital machinery industry (new machine manufacturing) focused on packaging preferred
  • Engineering degree preferred
