We're hiring a proven leader to serve as Director of Accounting in the Austin, Texas area. About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced Director of Accounting to lead a team managing all aspects of financial reporting, from the monthly close to the annual external audit. As a key member of the Finance team, you will collaborate regularly with leaders of the Accounting Operations team and the FP&A team. We are looking for a leader who can maintain focus on the big picture, and also be willing to delve deep into transaction details as the situation demands. This position reports to the CFO, United States.

Requirements

• Experience leading a team of accounting professionals
• Extensive experience with U.S. GAAP requirements, including independent research
• CPA and/or CMA license
• Experience with accounting software (e.g. Sage)
• Experience with multi-entity consolidation, preferably including international operations
• Eagerness to continually embrace new challenges at a fast-paced, high-growth company

• Audit experience at a Big 4 firm
• Based in or willing to relocate to Austin, Texas, where we are headquartered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly close process
• Coordinate global consolidation
• Manage external audit engagement
• Coordinate with external accounting firms to maintain tax compliance in all jurisdictions
• Monitor evolving FASB guidance to ensure continuing GAAP compliance
• Proactively research GAAP requirements for new company activities
• Coordinate global consolidation efforts
• Develop and supervise Financial Reporting team
