Job Overview: As the Director of Accounting, you will play a key role in providing strategic leadership and direction, fostering a collaborative culture, and driving operational excellence across the organization. This pivotal role involves shaping and executing the company's strategic initiatives to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of inventory accounting activities within the organization. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective inventory control, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements (including Sarbanes-Oxley, SOX, requirements). As a key leader, you will play a crucial role in fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture that aligns with Leslie’s vision and values. In addition, the role is responsible for the development and enforcement of general accounting policies and procedures and ensuring strong internal controls while driving process improvements. This position is responsible for meeting ad hoc requests from internal customers, internal/external audit requests as well as special projects, while driving a service delivery culture focused on customer-centric process excellence.
