About The Position

The Director of the Nursing Administrative Office provides leadership and operational oversight for nursing administration across two campuses, ensuring efficient and effective coordination of patient placement, central staffing, and float pool management. This role oversees Nursing Supervisors to maintain optimal staffing levels and high-quality patient care. The Director collaborates with clinical and administrative leaders to support organizational goals and nursing excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field.
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to various departments and levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrates ability to use computer presentation software to present data in an accurate and well-organized format such as Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and other software programs.
  • Registered Nurse in the state of Florida
  • BLS from AHA or American Red Cross
  • Over five (5) years clinical experience as an RN.
  • Acute care hospital leadership experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in nursing or health-related field preferred
  • Professional Nursing Certification
  • Nursing Supervisor, Staffing, and Patient Placement experience preferred
