Position Summary The Director of Network Strategy is a senior leadership role responsible for driving network innovation, growth, and performance across key markets. This role designs and executes network solutions that improve member health outcomes while reducing total cost of care, with a strong focus on value-based care (VBC), strategic partnerships, and scalable delivery models. The director acts as a key connector between strategy and execution—partnering across product, clinical, contracting, analytics, operations, and external healthcare partners to deliver commercially viable, market-ready network solutions. This leader serves as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and external partners, balancing near-term priorities with long-range strategic planning.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years experience in network strategy, healthcare partnerships, product strategy, value-based care, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing people, including setting clear expectations, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, and driving individual and team performance.
  • Proven client-facing experience, building trusted relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering solutions that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Network Strategy & Market Growth Define and execute network strategies that support membership growth, affordability, access, and quality across priority markets. Lead the development and deployment of innovative network solutions. Translate enterprise and market strategies into scalable network offerings that create value for customers, brokers, and healthcare partners. Shift network partnerships from reactive support to proactive, growth‑oriented collaboration.
  • Network Product Development Lead development and evolution of network-based products that support growth, improve outcomes, and reduce total cost of care. Define and advance hospital vertical strategy, translating market needs and client insights into scalable, differentiated network solutions. Partner cross-functionally to design, launch, and optimize hospital and specialty network offerings. Drive prioritization, simplification, and scalability of the network product portfolio to support long-term strategic objectives.
  • Data, Reporting & Insights Identify and implement opportunities to improve reporting and analytics for healthcare clients, network performance, and VBC initiatives. Lead development of network and VBC dashboards that deliver actionable insights. Ensure reporting outputs meet client, internal, and regulatory needs. Support client-specific reporting needs. Drive improved measurement of strategic impact and outcomes.
  • Relationship Management & Issue Resolution Serve as a senior escalation point for complex network, provider, and partner issues. Lead resolution of high-profile or sensitive cases through strong cross-functional collaboration and influence. Build credibility and trust through follow-through, transparency, and clear communication.
  • Leadership & Culture Lead, develop, and empower a high-performing team through delegation, coaching, and accountability. Foster an inclusive, purpose-driven culture focused on collaboration, engagement, and professional growth. Build team processes and clarify roles to support scalability and sustained performance.
