Requirements

  • Proven experience owning complex category strategy and delivering against long-term business plans
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret customer behavior, competitive landscape, and market trends
  • Omni-channel, customer-first decision making across touchpoints.
  • Ability to influence and align stakeholders; comfort operating with autonomy and ambiguity
  • Strong supplier management and negotiation capability
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising , or related field and 5 years’ experience in merchandising management, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area. OR 7 years’ experience in merchandising management, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area.
  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute category and business strategies aligned to customer needs and company priorities
  • Lead financial planning (budgeting/forecasting) and use insights to drive profitable growth
  • Own digital assortment strategy, including modular/assortment decisions and replenishment approach
  • Partner cross-functionally to align resources, priorities, and execution
  • Lead supplier strategy and negotiations to improve cost, value, and customer experience
  • Evaluate performance and operational processes; identify opportunities and implement improvements
  • Drive innovation and test-and-learn ideas that enhance the customer experience
  • Build a strong team culture that supports continuous learning and high performance
