A Marketplace New Business Development Director, Acquisition o wns end-to-end acquisition strategy for Target+, driving identification, engagement, and contracting of high-value marketplace partners to fuel profitable growth and strengthen the Target.com digital assortment. Accountable for delivering against product pyramid and enterprise merchandising priorities, the role sets the vision and standards for partner selection, ensuring alignment with guest needs and marketplace quality expectations. Operating at the intersection of Business Development and Merchandising, this leader leverages competitive intelligence, industry trend analysis, and performance data to proactively source differentiated DTC brands, vendors, and retailers. They partner cross-functionally with Guest & Assortment Strategy, Partner Management, and Operations teams to close assortment gaps, uphold operational and compliance standards, and ensure scalable, sustainable marketplace expansion.
