THE ROLE Marketing Systems Strategy: Collaborate with IOPS and Marketing stakeholders to define the marketing technology vision and 3-year plan. Partner with MOPS, Marketing, GTM Sales Systems, LOBs, leaders to develop and implement end-to-end processes to assist and automate GTM motions leveraging a CDP. Data Strategy and Integration: Oversee Marketing Data Engineering, who will work with cross functional BI & data teams to develop and implement data strategies for integrating data from multiple sources, including Snowflake, Salesforce, Marketo, 6Sense and Bombora. Manage the design of data flows and synchronization rules to ensure consistent, accurate, and accessible data for business decisions. Data Quality and Governance: Lead the creation of frameworks and processes to improve the quality of accounts, account hierarchy, contacts, and other critical data domains. Partner with corporate functions to include marketing needs in enterprise-wide Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance strategies. B2B Data Enrichment and Analysis: Lead the strategy to enrich account and contact data with B2B data vendors. Work with Finance to enhance the account hierarchy to support the development of ML models to enhance marketing effectiveness. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with leaders in Marketing, Sales, IT, Finance, Customer Support, Data Science, and Business Intelligence teams to align on vision, goals and execution. Collaborate with Sales Operations and IT to create unified GTM system capabilities and technology strategy. Leadership and Communication: Present marketing technology and data strategy progress and insights to executive leadership and key stakeholder teams. Influence and build consensus across diverse teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives. We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in software development, data engineering, GTM data management, B2B go-to-market technologies, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Extensive experience with B2B marketing technology stacks, including Salesforce, Adobe, Snowflake (or equivalent tools in the same category); and Customer Data Platform development and/or implementation (Adobe, High Touch, or equivalent)
  • Strong background in data integration, data quality management, and data governance.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving results.
  • Graduate degree in business, engineering, or equivalent. 10+ years’ experience in high tech B2B Marketing, Sales, and/or Tech. 7+ years’ experience in a Sales or Marketing analytics role.
