The Director, Marketing Excellence and Execution serves as a key leader in the US Pain Business Unit, evolving the brand strategy to reflect competitive dynamics, identifying opportunities for growth, and maximizing lifecycle management. This role will oversee brand planning, execution of key initiatives, measurement and reporting, and prepare for a potential expansion into chronic pain management. This leadership role will be critical to maximizing the impact of our marketing promotional spend and fundamentally transforming how pain is managed with the first new class of medicines in over two decades. This individual will be charged with identifying opportunities across the marketing verticals to accelerate the growth of JOURNAVX. They will exemplify Vertex’s uncompromising commitment to patients, navigating how we show-up and deliver this commitment in a large and diverse market. We are seeking a candidate that has a strong track record in US commercialization, demonstrated success in coaching diverse teams, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative-focused environment. This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing for the US Pain Business Unit.
