As a key member of the Revenue Cycle Management team, you will play an integral role in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward by transforming patient care and improving patient outcomes. The Director of Market Access leads the development and implementation of Enovis's payer access and contracting strategies across national, regional, and local payer levels. This position provides strategic guidance to ensure comprehensive coverage, consistent revenue growth, and long-term profitability, while enhancing Enovis's reputation as a reliable partner in the healthcare industry. The primary aim of the DPD is to strengthen partnerships, increase product adoption, and drive payer revenue through national customer engagements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in healthcare sales, Payer relations, market access, or reimbursement strategy.
  • Extensive experience negotiating complex Payer contracts at national and regional levels.
  • Proven success driving revenue growth, Payer access expansion, and strategic account development.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing executive-level (C-suite) stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and influencing teams within a matrixed organization.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50-75% of the time.
  • Typical work-related travel assignments range from 1 to 5 days, and as such, overnight, out-of-town stays are required.
  • Position requires car and air travel on a routine basis.
  • Currently, Enovis does not provide sponsorship for employment visas (e.g., H-1B) and will not offer such sponsorship in the future. Applicants must already have full-time work authorization in the United States, both now and in the future, without requiring sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing business development, account growth, customer satisfaction, client relationships, and overall account strategies.
  • Accountable for meeting and exceeding sales targets for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborates with Account Executives and cross-functional team leaders to drive business expansion within designated territories.
  • Utilizes industry expertise, product knowledge, and professional contacts to identify new business opportunities.
  • Communicates sales proposals and solutions, emphasizing customer ROI.
  • Formulates a long-term vision and strategic plan for profitable growth aligned with the company's future objectives.
  • Analyzes competitive pricing to ensure Enovis products are competitively priced to maximize sales and margins, considering market competition and brand positioning.
  • Identifies and advocates for ongoing initiatives aimed at reducing costs.
  • Profiles key payers to evaluate coverage policies, utilization controls, review timelines, geographic reach, and regional or national influence, ensuring optimal patient access to Enovis products.
  • Identifies opportunities to increase Enovis’ share within existing accounts through additional services and enhanced client value.
  • Leads payer contract development and negotiations for designated accounts.
  • Collaborates with Marketing on pricing and contracting strategies.
  • Leads cross-functional teams to achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Supports teams with payer coverage policies.
  • Develop strategies to address competitive threats and secure payer access.
  • Prepares customer proposals outlining scope, approach, and pricing, working with Service and P&L Leaders for effectiveness.
  • Manages ongoing projects within customer organizations and participates in key quality reviews.
  • Manages Executive Level (C-suite) relationships and negotiates high-risk solutions.
  • Develops strategic partnerships with target accounts, positioning Enovis as a trusted advisor.
  • Works to establish and maintain customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns.
  • Coordinates with senior management regularly.
  • Engages Medical Affairs resources to support optimal product access across assigned regions/accounts.
  • Maintains knowledge of third-party payer regulations, including Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Workers' Compensation, and non-governmental payers, to ensure Enovis conducts its Revenue Cycle Management activities in compliance with applicable rules, policies, and guidance.
  • Demonstrates commitment to the Compliance & Ethics Program, the Enovis Code of Conduct, the Enovis Sales and Marketing Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code of Ethics, and all supporting and applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Adheres to all internal Corporate Compliance guidelines, OIG, government healthcare regulations, regulatory policies and procedures, and privacy and security standards in accordance with government agencies, including HIPAA requirements.
  • Treats Protected Health Information (PHI) with the strictest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
  • Acquires a basic understanding of the field, including regulatory compliance issues, and adheres to these guidelines.
