ROLE SUMMARY The Director, Learning Divisional Strategy and Execution Partner serves as the strategic learning advisor and execution partner for a designated business unit, aligning its skill development needs with Pfizer’s broader L&D strategy and PX roadmap. The role ensures that learning initiatives are integrated into business priorities, enabling workforce capability building and future readiness. This role acts as a trusted advisor to senior business leadership, defining the learning strategy, managing and developing the curricula, ensuring execution and advocating for innovative approaches that drive measurable impact. What You Will Achieve In this role, you will: Strategy & Alignment Proactively act as strategic advisor to business unit leadership to translate BU objectives into a learning strategy and roadmap Translate business priorities into actionable learning plans aligned with Pfizer’s’ PX talent strategy Proactively advise on learning principles, including scope, limitations, and measurable outcomes Influence key L&D decisions with data-driven insights Program Management Own and manage the learning programs for the business unit, including technical and leadership skill development Curate existing content and identify gaps, recommending build, buy, or adapt strategies Cross L&D Collaboration Work with AI & Technical Fluency, Strategy, and Instructional Design team to integrate AI and tech fluency programs into the portfolio to future-proof skills Collaborate with Learning Instructional Design, Course Creation team to design blended learning interventions using adult learning theory and BU specific scenarios Develop proof of concept learning assets for rapid deployment Innovation & Advocacy Proactively champion AI and tech fluency across the business unit Monitor emerging technologies and learning trends and advise on integration into strategies Stay up to date on business unit needs and outside influences, proactively bringing ideas to business partners Contribute to Pfizer-wide initiatives (e.g., global AI fluency programs) Participate in cross-functional task forces on BU-specific skills and workforce transformation Support change management for learning technology adoption Coach junior L&D team members or project managers on strategic advisory skills Support content audits and quality assurance for Pfizer-wide learning libraries Participate in testing new learning technologies
