What is the opportunity? Leads in the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. Applies extensive, in-depth knowledge, skills, and practices to perform complex assignments. What will you do? Lead engineering to build a cross-asset, low-latency data and analytics platform for Global Markets. Partner with Quants and Research across Equities, FX, Rates, Credit, Futures, Options, and Swaps to translate requirements into production solutions. Architect and operate a hybrid time-series platform that unifies real-time streaming, historical compute, and governed feature stores. Own the end-to-end trade analytics lifecycle: ingestion, validation, feature engineering, signal generation, back testing, deployment, and monitoring. Set and meet strict latency, throughput, and reliability SLAs for live analytics and trading use cases. Establish SDLC excellence with CI/CD, automated testing, observability, change management, documentation, and incident response. Lead and mentor a global team, coordinate delivery across time zones, and enforce data governance, entitlements, lineage, and compliance. What do you need to succeed? Must-have: 10+ years of KDB+ architecture and development for enterprise market data and analytics, covering real-time and historical compute at scale. Experience integrating KDB+ with Databricks and Snowflake, plus containerization, orchestration, advanced monitoring, and data quality frameworks. Proven track record building and optimizing low-latency applications for trading and analytics. Strong understanding of asset classes and market microstructure across equities, FX, rates, credit, and derivatives. Hands-on experience with cloud-based, horizontally scalable systems for back testing and simulation that deliver reproducible results. Proficiency with Linux and modern CI/CD pipelines; capable in Python and familiar with C for performance-critical components. What’s in it for you? This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
