About The Position

Calling all Esteemed Labor Relations Leaders! Are you an exceptional leader with a keen eye for labor relations and human resources management? The Role: As the Labor Relations Director, you will spearhead labor relations initiatives for our South Division - including all of our California ministries. Your leadership will ensure effective contract administration and nurture healthy relationships with labor representatives. You'll support bargaining processes, mitigate labor risks, and develop strategic labor plans. Additionally, you'll collaborate with HR COEs, operations leadership teams, and field HR to enhance the quality experience for core leaders and caregivers. What You’ll Do? Strategic Leader: Provide leadership and direction on labor relations services aligned with our strategic priorities and organizational goals. Trend Analyst: Proactively identify labor relations trends, interpreting and reporting on labor activity to inform strategic actions. Negotiation Architect: Design and implement negotiation strategies, collaborating with legal counsel and HR teams. Proposal Manager: Prepare contract proposals and oversee the bargaining process and contract implementation. Subject Matter Expert: Advise leaders and HR professionals on labor issues, using your expertise to guide decision-making. Communication Innovator: Develop and implement labor-related communications and training programs for core leaders. Experience Enhancer: Craft strategies to improve caregiver and core leader experiences within the organization. Team Builder: Lead and develop a strong functional team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, and succession planning. Metrics Analyst: Use measurements to predict needs and ensure strategies are aligned with organizational objectives. Mission Integrator: Embed the organization’s mission throughout the labor relations process. What You’ll Bring? Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Organization Development, Industrial Relations, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred. Experience: 8 years in leadership roles within a labor environment and 10+ years in leadership within complex, multi-location organizations. Healthcare experience preferred. Strategic Expertise: Proven ability to achieve strategic initiatives, enhance retention, and reduce turnover through effective HR partnerships. Problem-Solving Skills: Aptitude for resolving complex employee relations and HR challenges with agility. Communication Excellence: Exceptional communication, presentation, and training skills. Legal Acumen: Thorough understanding of employment and labor laws, including FLSA, NLRA, ADA, and discrimination/equal employment opportunity regulations. Change Management: Skillful in adjusting to dynamic environments and managing effective organizational change. Requirements
