About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Director, PMO to lead program management for complex, cross-functional initiatives and M&A integration and large-scale enterprise transformations across G&A functions (Finance, HR, Legal). This leader will oversee the IT Program Management Office (PMO), driving strategy execution, governance, and delivery excellence for programs that are critical to scaling the enterprise. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in managing high-impact IT programs in global organizations, proven success leading technology workstreams in M&A, and the ability to partner closely with business and IT executives to ensure strategic outcomes are achieved.

Requirements

  • Must be Local to SF bayarea.
  • Solid 15+ years in IT, with at least 10 years of experience running a PMO and leading expansive, cross-functional program leadership with Bachelors/Masters in relevant fields.
  • Demonstrated experience managing portfolio-level work across multiple business functions such as Finance, HR, and Legal, and large M&A integration.
  • Proven experience in M&A integrations, particularly within code-to-cache processes.
  • Strong technical skills and a proven track record of applying or enabling advanced technologies like Generative AI (GenAI) in an enterprise setting.
  • Exemplary collaborative ethos and an imperative cross-functional role.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proactive in strategizing and managing risks.
  • Experience aligning with engineering and diverse teams in a tech-intensive environment.
  • Agile/Scrum team experience.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead the IT PMO with best-in-class governance, methodology, and reporting.
  • Define program standards, processes, and tools for planning, execution, and benefits tracking.
  • Provide transparency and executive-level updates on portfolio health, risks, and decisions.
  • Serve as program leader for IT and Quote-to-Cash workstreams during acquisitions.
  • Drive pre-close readiness, Day 1 execution, and post-close integration to target-state systems and processes.
  • Ensure business continuity while delivering synergies in ERP, HRMS, CRM, Collaboration, Security, and Infrastructure.
  • Lead IT delivery of large-scale G&A programs, such as ERP upgrades, HRMS implementations, financial close automation, and productivity tool rollouts.
  • Partner with Finance, HR, Legal, and other G&A leaders to align technology initiatives with business priorities.
  • Drive process standardization, automation, and adoption of cloud-based platforms (e.g., SAP, Workday, ServiceNow).
  • Act as a trusted advisor to CxO and business stakeholders on transformation priorities.
  • Build strong partnerships across IT, business functions, and external partners to deliver joint outcomes.
  • Lead organizational change management to ensure successful adoption of new tools and processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of program/project managers.
  • Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify, champion, and operationalize opportunities to leverage Generative AI (GenAI) and advanced automation across G&A functions (Finance, HR, Legal) to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and decision support.
  • Direct the integration of AI-enabled tools into the PMO methodology, specifically for accelerating roadmap planning, requirements gathering, and post-merger synergy tracking.
