We’re currently looking for: Responsible for managing the design, implementation and operation of computer network infrastructure supporting RingCentral's cloud business communications solutions. To succeed in this role you must meet the following requirements: Own the infrastructure roadmap and drive modernization, scalability, security and operational excellence Lead teams across cloud, systems and network functions Track team performance metrics, coaching and training to manage staff performance, develop Oversee cloud, identity, virtualization, storage and compute environments Ensure reliability and performance of enterprise networks, firewalls, VPN, SD, WAN and WiFi Partner with Security team to implement zero-trust, identity governance and compliance Lead infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations and lifecycle operations Manage budgets, vendor relationships, contracts and cost optimization Communicate risks,priorities and progress to executives and cross-functional stakeholders Serving as network subject matter and policy expert Continuously identifying and leveraging new technologies or methodologies Ensuring operation of the Global RingCentral Corporate network environment Developing standards, procedures and other documentation to guide Infrastructure team members in performance of their function Providing direction and training for other network engineers and administrators

Requirements

  • U.S. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field, or foreign equivalent, plus two (2) years of related experience, or U.S. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience, is required.
  • Within the foregoing parameters, any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
  • Experience with IP Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF), multi-vendor hardware and software environments (Cisco, Palo Alto Networks), Network Concepts (Etherchannel, LACP, STP, QoS), Network Security (IPSec, VPN) is required.
