Highlights: Summary: The Director, Infrastructure & Advanced Technology is a vital leadership role responsible for the strategic oversight and management of all aspects of IT infrastructure, including network and systems management/engineering. The Director will work closely with the Manager, Network Engineering and Manager, Systems Engineering. The Director will ensure the organization's IT infrastructure is reliable, secure, scalable, and capable to support current and future healthcare operations. This role will encompass strategic planning, the implementation of advanced technologies, and the continuous improvement of infrastructure to meet the ever-evolving needs of the healthcare environment. The Director is charged to develop and execute strategies that enhance operational efficiencies, ensure data security, and support the seamless delivery of patient care services. By fostering a culture of innovation and excellence, this leader will drive the infrastructure team towards achieving Baptist Health's mission and goals through technology. Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field of study relevant to the current position required. In lieu of degree, candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. A minimum of 10 years’ of experience in IT infrastructure management, including 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing network and systems engineering required; however, candidates with an equivalent combination of experience, education, certification, and demonstrated proficiency in a similar or related role will also be considered. Licensure/Certification: Two or more current, industry standard certifications preferred (CISSP, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, etc.). Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: b expertise in network and systems engineering, including the design, implementation, and optimization of complex infrastructure environments. In-depth understanding of modern infrastructure technologies such as cloud computing, virtualization, software-defined networking, and advanced data storage solutions. Proven team management skills, with the ability to motivate and drive performance in a dynamic environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving issues and improving infrastructure services and resiliency. Deep knowledge of IT security and compliance standards, ensuring infrastructure systems adhere to industry best practices for safety and privacy. Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, with a focus on timelines, budgets, and quality outcomes. Ability to develop and execute a strategic vision for IT infrastructure and advanced technology, aligning with organizational goals and future growth. Proficient in ITIL framework and other industry standards, ensuring efficient incident management, change management, and system performance monitoring. b vendor management skills, ensuring optimal performance and value from external partners, contracts, and service agreements. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience implementing security measures on end-user computing devices (workstation, laptops, tablets, peripherals, etc.). b skills in creating and maintaining detailed documentation for processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. b interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on relationship-building and effective collaboration across diverse groups. b commitment to providing excellent customer service.
