The Director - Imaging Services is responsible for management and oversight of day-to-day operational responsibilities of imaging departments across the Baptist Health Care system. These tasks include oversight of Inpatient, Outpatient, Baptist Medical Parks and Andrews Institute Imaging for system alignment and financial viability of all imaging services. These responsibilities include oversight of access, clinical coverage, efficiencies, costs and supply chain initiatives and growth initiatives within each Baptist Health Care facility related to imaging services. The role aligns the imaging initiatives throughout the system to better improve quality and cost effectiveness and ensures service development, personnel management and resource allocation and control in order to support and enhance patient care. The director is responsible for the services provided within the facilities by the diagnostic, ultrasound, CT scan, nuclear medicine, PET CT, MRI, and Women’s Imaging departments. The position oversees director-level administrative and clinical operations of all imaging departments, following best practices and regulatory guidelines and promoting exceptional patient care. The position oversees the selection, training and development of supervisory staff for imaging departments of Baptist Health Care and provides lead with fiscal accountability, positive unit relations with other departments, radiologists and medical staff, and assures services are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulation requirements.
