Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. The Advanced Electronic Warfare Solutions product line is seeking a highly experienced Program Area Director to provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of multi-disciplined development programs as well as new business capture efforts focused on winning positions in a competitive acquisition landscape. This individual will be responsible for establishing product roadmaps, pursuing new business opportunities, driving program execution rigor, and fostering strong customer engagements. Success in this role relies on the cultivation of strong external and internal relationships at various levels with the US government, prime contractors, and BAE Systems executive ranks to understand customer needs and make market driven decisions.

Requirements

Lead a multi-disciplined team in executing portfolios of classified contracts for military and defense contractors.
Spearhead major new start programs for the Electronic Systems sector, driving collaboration across diverse business areas to enable rapid transition to the field and address critical warfighter capability gaps.
Provide leadership for new Electronic Warfare business development, capture strategies, and proposals for crewed and uncrewed air vehicles.
Develop strategic guidance and win strategies and lead the execution of competitive proposals
Engage frequently with senior-level executives on projects, operational decisions, and strategies.
Demonstrate visible leadership across the portfolio, leading by example, and driving program performance excellence.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leaders and customers.
Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to achieve results through others.
Business acumen mindset, with awareness within and outside the business.
Ability to hold yourself and others accountable.
Growth and Development: Take an active role in developing and executing a growth strategy to support the product line's integrated business plan and technology growth plan.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or DAWIA Level II/III.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in a technical discipline
Experience in commercial product development and/or high-volume production
Have held a clearance within 2 years
