About The Position

Horizon Rehabilitation Hospital of McKinney is a newly established, state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation hospital dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care to our community. We are committed to setting new standards in rehabilitation by focusing on compassion, excellence, and teamwork. We are seeking experienced and passionate Director of Human Resources for our team. Job Summary: Direct human resources efforts to ensure performance and organizational excellence, adherence with all regulatory, compliance and legal human resources issues, and promote an environment of respect for all employees, patients and visitors. Work closely with the hospital Chief Executive Officer and leadership team to develop and implement effective human resource strategies and programs, including training and development, performance management and compensation. Lead recruitment, benefit administration, employee relations, employment counseling, and other related human resources functions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in related field required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of previous human resources experience at a manager level required.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Previous experience working for a hospital or healthcare company preferred.
  • Knowledge of The Joint Commission, state and federal regulations relating to human resources preferred.
