About The Position

The HR Director will partner closely with the HR Business Partner to support two growing investment teams across a broad set of talent management initiatives, including talent assessment, hiring and retention, program and performance management, and professional development and training. The ideal candidate has strong people-oriented strategic and operational planning skills, a data-driven mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • 12+ years post-undergraduate experience in human resources, recruiting, and/or talent management; professional services experience preferred
  • Passionate people-oriented professional motivated to develop talent and help others succeed
  • Collaborative team player who partners effectively with colleagues at all levels and actively contributes ideas and perspective
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently lead projects end-to-end in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organization, attention to detail, adaptability to shifting priorities and deadlines, and willingness to work outside regular business hours as needed
  • Proactive, creative problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes both qualitatively and quantitatively, and pursue solutions with rigor

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point required; familiarity with Workday a plus

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting and New Hire Experience Lead external recruitment searches, including programmatic hiring, and develop tailored strategic search plans for junior- to mid-level investment and portfolio group positions
  • Act as key liaison for candidate relationships through a high-touch approach; proactively build and manage pipelines with agency partners and deliver best-in-class interview experiences for candidates and interview teams
  • Drive end-to-end recruiting processes, including talent assessment, interviewer prep, feedback collection, candidate debrief facilitation, reference checks, offer generation and sell strategies
  • Apply a data-driven approach to evaluate recruiting strategy and identify opportunities for continuous improvement using results, benchmarks, campus metrics, and competitive insights
  • Provide high level oversight of campus recruiting strategy (internships and full time), including marketing and brand-building efforts
  • Drive onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition and integration for new hires
  • Lead Executive Assistant recruiting efforts
  • Oversee semi-annual performance review cycles and compensation process, in partnership with HRBP and senior leadership, including synthesizing development themes, driving action planning, supporting performance messaging and review delivery, and ensuring effective Workday execution
  • Develop and support the training agenda for investment staff at both the individual and group levels in collaboration with senior leadership
  • Design and deliver training and people initiatives, including the development of new programs and enhancement of existing offerings
  • Lead and manage the Analyst and Associate programs, owning the end-to-end experience, long-term talent planning, and senior leadership engagement
  • Provide high-level oversight of Summer Analyst program in partnership with other HR team members
  • Actively contribute to initiatives that foster a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship
  • Own the Analyst/Associate experience by leading a regular cadence of check-ins to assess engagement and employee experience and translating insights into recommendations to HRBP and leadership team as it relates to development, mentorship, etc.
  • Serve as a thought partner to HRBP on employee surveys, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights and inform action planning
  • Support event planning throughout the year, including offsites, holiday parties, and teambuilding activities
