About The Position

The HRBP Director is a senior strategic partner to CIB leadership, responsible for aligning human capital strategies with business objectives. This role drives organizational effectiveness, talent development, and cultural transformation in a fast-paced environment. The position requires deep financial services expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to influence at the executive level. The Director Human Resources TDS is responsible for supporting the business strategy and executing on key initiatives along with providing HR support to a portfolio of leaders. The Director Human Resources TDS works in partnership with business leaders to develop HR strategies and implement HR practices, providing consultative HR support to assist in achieving business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or progressive work experience
  • 7-10 years related experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in senior HRBP roles within financial services or investment banking.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, corporate banking, and investment banking operations.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead organizational change.
  • Expertise in talent management and organizational design
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to leverage HR metrics and analytics for data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with senior and executive management in leading, planning and executing complex/strategic HR/people-related initiatives
  • Develops and executes talent management and organizational design and effectiveness strategies in partnership with senior business leaders in support of the business's goals and objectives
  • Delivers relevant insights, analytics and HR solutions that support the organization's competitive advantage
  • Partners with Centers of Expertise including organizational design, employee relations, compensation and Shared Services; manages complex deliverables, provides HR solutions and guides businesses on how to leverage these services effectively
  • Consults with the executive team on the development, succession and retention of Pipeline Talent in the business to ensure effective coaching and career progression
  • Effectively deals with issues and moves them forward using the appropriate HR channels while earning the right to be at the table early to provide expert counsel and consultation to business partners on their strategic plans
  • Acts as a key change agent and catalyst for change within a business
  • May support a matrixed reporting environment and will provide guidance on cross border initiatives and strategies
