About The Position

Airbus Commercial is looking for an Director, HR Business Partner & Corporate Functions Lead to join our Human Resources team in Herndon, Virginia. The Director, HR Business Partner & Corporate Functions Lead is a strategic role responsible for aligning people and organizational strategy with the business goals of the region’s corporate/enabling functions (e.g., Finance, Legal, IT, Security, Government Relations, etc.) This role serves as the primary Strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to the leaders of these functions and is responsible for managing, mentoring, and developing a team of HRBPs who support these critical groups across the US and Canada. The Director is a key driver of organizational health, talent development, and change management within these corporate function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or combination of education and appropriate work experience required.
  • 15 years of progressive HR experience as an HRBP or leading a support function required.
  • Experience working in a multi-functional international environment required.
  • Ability to travel 25% Domestic and International

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in Aerospace preferred.
  • PHR, SPHR or SHRM certifications preferred
