About The Position

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Serve as the primary legal expert on the EU Pay Transparency Directive and other related pay equity laws and regulations. Lead the global Pay Equity Reporting & Transparency COE, providing subject matter expertise, resources, and advisement to subsidiaries. Lead the design, buildout, and implementation of a comprehensive, enterprise-wide compliance strategy and operating model. Create a multi-year roadmap to build organizational competencies, capabilities, and skills needed to support ongoing pay transparency and pay equity and reporting requirements. Develop training and communication materials to help non-legal and non-technical stakeholders understand complex legal and analytical concepts. Develop scalable tools, processes, workflows, and governance frameworks for use across 15 subsidiaries. Partner with Total Rewards, HR, L&E Legal and DHR and OpCo leadership teams to interpret results, evaluate risk, and recommend appropriate pay adjustments and remediation strategies. Collaborate with technology partners to evaluate and optimize platforms used for statistical analysis and compliance reporting. Advise senior business leaders, HR teams, legal colleagues, and business units on compliance obligations, risks, and strategic options. Drive alignment and influence decision-making across a highly matrixed, global organization. Navigate ambiguity and shifting regulatory landscapes while maintaining a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of demonstrated experience managing and driving global compensation compliance, reporting and pay equity analyses for substantial, complex multinational corporations.
  • Demonstrated expertise with legal and reporting requirements relating to pay equity and global compensation frameworks.
  • Demonstrated expertise with gender pay gap compliance in EU member states as well as the EU Pay Transparency Directive, including hands-on compliance experience.
  • Proficiency in pay equity analysis and methodology, including multivariate and regression analysis.
  • Experience using technology platforms or software tools that support pay equity statistical analysis, and proficient with MS Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong capability in evaluating analytical results and advising on pay adjustments or remediation to close pay gaps.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal and statistical concepts for non-experts.
  • Demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and build trust with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Must maintain professional remote environment, with ability to engage in travel when needed (approximately quarterly, including possible international travel)
  • Considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer
  • Must be available during core U.S. business hours and during extended hours as may be required for global virtual meetings and communications (EU and Asia).

Nice To Haves

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • 5–10 years of relevant labor & employment legal experience.
  • 5–10 years of relevant pay equity and pay transparency consultancy experience.
