About The Position

Litfulo (ritlecitinib), a priority brand for Pfizer, is a novel kinase inhibitor that received FDA / EMA approval in 2023 for the treatment of severe Alopecia Areata. Vitiligo, a disease that is the #1 cause of skin depigmentation worldwide, is the next indication in the brand’s pipeline and is expected to be filed in major markets later this year. The Global Litfulo Vitiligo Launch Lead represents the opportunity to lead cross-functional launch readiness and core brand management responsibilities for an expected blockbuster product in Pfizer’s I&I portfolio. This role is responsible for facilitating and leading cross-functional collaboration to ensure launch preparation is completed successfully for all launch markets, in close collaboration with US, ICO, and EMCO (Commercial Organizations). The successful candidate must drive engagement, close alignment, and the brand operating model with cross-indication, cross-functional, and cross-regional teams as well as brand commercial leaders while leading global XFT members on coordinated commercial, medical, and access strategy and tactics. In addition, the Launch Lead is responsible for core brand management activities such as leadership presentation development, operating plan, launch stage gates, cross-functional strategic brand evolution, and life-cycle management analysis. The position will report directly to the Global Commercial Litfulo Vitiligo Lead.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 8+ years Pharmaceutical or biotechnology marketing, commercial, and/or strategic consulting experience
  • Successful track record of building brands, delivering commercial growth and driving performance through teams
  • Experience working in highly competitive market environments and evolving in real-time to enable continued performance
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills, including financial acumen and analysis, and capabilities for uncovering deep customer insights, and acting upon customer needs
  • Demonstrated willingness to challenge the status-quo, strong communication at all levels including leadership, confidence & flexibility in multicultural setting
  • Experience representing opportunities and plans to senior leadership
  • Experience working directly with country and regional business leaders to drive results
  • Ability to liaise with many different functions and colleagues and effectively lead to implement strategies with internal/external stakeholders
  • Track record of creating an atmosphere of inclusion, developing colleagues at all levels, driving performance, accelerating decision-making and prioritization that supports strong contribution and engagement
  • This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure launch readiness across all stakeholder functions
  • Provide strategic thought leadership to ensure delivery of a best-in-class launch
  • Establish strong partnerships with regional (US, ICO, and EMCO), cross functional, and cross-indication colleagues
  • Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with all cross-functional partners, incl. medical, access & value, manufacturing/supply, legal, finance, regulatory, clinical, and IIS to have broad oversight into all elements of launch
  • Partner with IIS to provide global long-range forecasting guidance to all priority launch markets
  • Partner closely with Global Commercial Lead on leadership presentation development and delivery, investor relations and earnings support, and additional leadership deliverables, as needed
  • Serve as commercial lead for global launch sequencing and supply launch readiness and prioritization
  • Serve as the brand lead for all commercial Enterprise Launch Stage Gates supporting the Launch Excellence organization, including launch tracking platforms and leadership reporting
  • Serve as global brand operating plan captain
  • Contribute to life cycle management analyses for internal and external opportunities
  • Launch performance/KPI tracking: closely monitor early launch market performance, tracking strategic and outcomes KPIs for future market launch optimization and real-time agile launch adjustment, as needed
