Within CO+I, the Global Supply Chain team is responsible for establishing a supply chain that can meet the ever-growing Microsoft Cloud for our customers. We support a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-billion, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects and operations of those assets. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must ​relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology (IT), Business, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or related field AND 8+ years supply chain, inventory management or sales operations experience, preferably in planning (demand/supply/forecasting), cloud industry experience, infrastructure, data science, and/or channel management experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Background Check Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key contact for the GSC Equipment Planning team acting as the liaison externally with IPE partners such as Datacenter Supply Strategy & Planning (DSSP) and E2E teams, and well as to other EPC stakeholders (Data Center Engineering and Project Controls) to drive business process alignment.
  • Aligns demand forecasts, supply plans, and inventory strategies across regions – ensuring teams like DSSP (Datacenter Supply Strategy & Planning for demand input), DCE (Data Center Engineering for design impacts), Project Controls (schedules), Finance, and Category Management/Procurement are all engaged
  • Sets up collaborative processes to validate and revise demand signals before finalizing them. Hold early “demand feasibility” reviews with DSSP and DCE to assess project requests and anticipated needs, and use scenario planning tools to examine supply and scheduling options.
  • Lead rapid-response “war-room” meetings with stakeholders to support accelerations and quick project approvals during urgent demand spikes; collaborate across Finance, Engineering, Project Teams, and Suppliers via Category Management, ensuring unified execution and standardizing a fast-track response process.
  • Facilitate supplier collaboration in the long-term demand planning space by integrating supplier input, coordinating forecasts and confirmations with GSC Production Planning team through systems, incorporating feasibility feedback, and promoting tools to enhance forecast accuracy and alignment with supplier capabilities.
