Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine Job Description With deep experience in translating commercial insights & analytics into strategic implication, an appetite for innovation and a care for people, the Director, Global Immunology Commercial Insights and Analytics leads a team of competitive intelligence, market research, forecasting and analytics professionals to shape the immunology pipeline strategy. Through deep understanding of disease and market, customers’ needs, perceptions and behaviors, monitoring and evaluating emerging targets/MOAs, competitors’ strategies/tactics and developing commercial opportunity assessments, you will partner across the value chain to enable clinical development and commercialization and maximize J&J’s pipeline value.

Requirements

  • BA/BS required; MS/MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pharma/biotech
  • Minimum 5 years’ people management experience
  • Communication: Advanced communication and presentation skills
  • Strategic analysis, business context & implications: Advanced ability in identifying opportunities, effectively developing business cases and pull through solutions
  • Collaboration: Expertise in creating cross functional teams and business structures to collaboratively solve complex challenges
  • Influencing & Negotiating: Advanced ability to effectively influence senior leaders and colleagues at all levels of the organization
  • Growing and developing talent: proven advanced experience of leading a team of direct reports
  • Innovative: advanced ability to identify and drive improvement in ways of working, GCI processes, tools and technology, to enable improved effectiveness or efficiency
  • Growth mindset: Open to innovating, learning & adapting and encouraging others to do the same
  • Domestic and International travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Team leadership and management to deliver, develop and inspire: Effectively manage the work of the team to meet the dynamic needs of the business and ensure business delivery, continuity & quality build and maintain team members’ functional skills mentor and coach team members’ on leadership skills support team members’ career development Inspires the team to deliver business impact through integrated insights and analytics
  • Build industry leading GCI insights that shape business strategies: Lead development of insights from analytics, market research, competitor intelligence and forecasts to support key strategic global commercial processes across the DAS (strategy development – ADP/WWSAP; commercial input to governance processes – IPC/IC; annual budget planning, LRFP, commercial evaluations for BD) Build partnerships and new ways of working with key stakeholders to deliver fit for purpose insights and analytics that are easy to digest & actionable Partner with other DAS GCI leads to ensure consistency in implementation of key processes across market research, competitive intelligence and forecasting
  • Partner with regions and cross-functional stakeholders: Build trusted relationships with the regions Coordinate with regions on insights, analytics, forecasts, market research and competitive intelligence Partner with regions and global stakeholders on strategic processes (e.g. LRFP, annual budget planning, BD) Drive insights and best practice sharing across stakeholder groups Partner with regions and global stakeholders on strategic KPI tracking (performance, launch)
