About The Position

Kymera is undergoing multiple major enterprise transformation initiatives including ERP, Analytics, CRM and AI systems, replacing legacy systems, processes and data with global standardized systems, harmonized business processes and clean master data to enable business innovation and growth. The Director, Global Applications role reports to the CIO, leads Kymera’s IT Business Applications teams and is responsible for delivering the initiatives, focusing heavily on the successful new worldwide implementation of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and replacing numerous legacy ERP systems. Additionally, this role will help define the Analytics, CRM and AI strategy and deliver new solutions in those areas. This impactful role directly contributes to Kymera’s scalability, growth and success by collaborating directly with our key executive and business leaders across all major lines of business (finance, sales, procurement, manufacturing & compliance), SAP and CRM partners, and 20+ Kymera worldwide locations to plan, execute and manage our global SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, CRM, Analytics and AI system implementations. As a key leader, you’ll ensure our systems are successfully adopted, executing standardized processes, managing the best possible data, and enabling transformation through AI and automation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field.
Minimum twelve years in the SAP ecosystem in mid-size or large global enterprise environments including hands-on SAP ERP configuration and technical management.
Minimum four years of SAP S/4HANA including BTP and SAP analytics.
Technical understanding of SAP ERP and related platforms (BTP, SAC, CALM, CBC etc.) including in-depth knowledge of several SAP modules.
Completed at least two full life-cycle SAP implementations.
Strong knowledge of SAP line-of-business processes including RTR, PTP, OTC, and PTF.
Leading and managing SAP functional/technical teams supporting global solutions.
Managing departmental and global enterprise project budgets.
Solid understanding of SDLC, SAP transports, and compliance requirements
Experience and understanding of enterprise data analytics and business intelligence using any modern data platform (Snowflake, Fabric, Databricks, etc) and BI reporting technology (PowerBI, Tableau, etc).

Responsibilities

S/4HANA Public Cloud: Define plans, manage timelines, and complete the successful migration from legacy ERP systems to S4 HANA Public Cloud across the organization, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
SAP Analytics Cloud: Define the analytics strategy and roadmap and manage the migration of existing legacy analytics environments to SAP Analytics Cloud.
CRM Systems: Define the CRM strategy, decide on CRM platform/system, and manage the migration from legacy CRM systems to the new global CRM platform/system.
AI Systems: Build the AI roadmap, leverage SAP's AI capabilities to improve processes, implement generative and agentive AI technologies to create lasting business value.
Collaboration: Work with business leaders across all business lines, IT and Operational teams to understand business requirements and align initiatives with business needs and maximize value.
Communication: Effectively communicate the value of global solutions and gain buy-in from stakeholders at all levels.
Innovation / Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest advancements and trends in SAP, AI and other technologies, and drive continuous improvements in alignment with the company's overall business goals and objectives. Understand Kymera business processes and identify opportunities for optimization using the SAP S/4HANA system and AI capabilities.
Team Management: Manage the IT business applications teams, provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with solution providers, partners and consultants. Evaluate and select external vendors as needed. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met.
Governance: Establish and maintain effective governance processes to ensure compliance, security, and data integrity across global systems. Implement best practices, standards, and policies for global systems management.
Budget and Resource Management: Develop budgets, forecasts and manage costs. Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of the global applications and analytics initiatives.
