About The Position

Conducts on-site visits to Cherokee Nation's gaming facilities, performs audit analysis and recommendations, generates reports and develops policies and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Business Administration, Accounting, Management, Public Administration or a related field; or six years related experience; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
An additional five years progressively responsible experience is required with three of the five years in a supervisory position.
Experience in accounting for governmental and enterprise operations and/or Indian tribal governmental operations is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Database software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Cherokee Nation Gaming License.
Must be able to operate standard office equipment and word processing, spreadsheet and data bases computer programs.
Must be able to talk or hear.
Must be able to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Must be able to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
