The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-fueled organization whose mission is to cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improve the quality of life for the children and adults affected by these diseases. In addition, we lead federal and state-based advocacy campaigns to support medical research funding and improve patient access to care. Position Summary: The Senior Manager, Fundraising Campaigns & Volunteer Engagement is a lead fundraising role responsible for successfully implementing our signature gala, Soiree by the Bay, as well as supporting other chapter fundraising and community events throughout the year. They are responsible for meeting or exceeding event budgets in assigned areas, and work in partnership with Foundation leaders, community volunteers and committees to drive growth and success in Event fundraising campaigns. In partnership with the Executive Director, this individual will develop and execute fundraising strategies and identify, recruit, train, and partner with leadership volunteers to harness their passion and skills and to help maximize their engagement to advance the mission of the Foundation. The successful candidate will be a savvy and nuanced fundraiser, adept at identifying, engaging, and leveraging high-impact volunteers to exceed revenue goals. This is a hybrid role with 2 days/week based out of the San Francisco office and 3 days based out of home, but traveling to meetings regularly. Some evening and weekend work required.
