We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director to join our Fund Reporting team. This role is located in Boston, MA ( 4 days in office expectation per week). In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Direct a Fund Reporting area consisting of multiple teams responsible for preparing and reviewing financial reports on behalf of assigned clients and funds. Manage financial and human resources for the unit, ensuring teams operate effectively to meet unit goals and objectives. Execute business plans and contribute to the development of functional strategy. Provide oversight and guidance in setting processes that ensure completeness and accuracy of disclosure in financial statements. Resolve the most complex escalated issues from team members. Oversee relationships with senior-level auditors and large, complex clients to ensure financial reporting meets expectations and accurately depicts fund performance. Ensure financial reporting complies with Corporate and applicable regulatory standards. Lead analysis of changes in accounting and disclosure standards to establish new policies ensuring compliance. Lead presentation of fund reports to the Board of Directors to ensure good governance and communicate complex, difficult, or controversial concepts. Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff to maximize individual contributions, professional growth, and effective teamwork. Manage a large Fund Reporting area primarily through subordinate managers. Responsible for achieving goals of a large financial reporting area, talent management, and supervision of teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10-15 years of total work experience with at least 3-5 years of management experience preferred.
  • Experience in accounting and/or finance preferred.
